We believe that our social mission to “contribute to the pharmaceutical industry through glass containers and to safeguard people’s health” overlaps with activities toward achieving the SDGs to “ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.”
Target and Activity 1 aimed at achieving the SDGs
Target
Endeavor to create a livable environment for local people by contributing to the local community through environmentally friendly volunteer activities, etc.
Major activities
- 1) Zero garbage campaign around workplaces and activities to clean water and inlets around the factory
- 2) Maintain local industry by providing local high school students with opportunities to visit our factory
Target and Activity 2 aimed at achieving the SDGs
Target
Systematically work on promoting the health of employees, improving the work environment and providing education for employees to further promote health management and work-style reform
Major activities
- 1) Increase influenza vaccination coverage at the company’s expense
- 2) Activities for promoting health such as reduction of the risk factors for metabolic syndrome as well as reduction of the smoking rate

Target
Aim to protect the environment and reduce environmental load by promoting energy saving and carbon neutrality as well as waste sorting and recycling
Major activities
- 1) Improve the recovery rate of recyclable resources such as glass and packing materials (paper, nylon), which are raw materials
- 2) Promote energy saving activities such as the introduction of LED lighting
